Salaam, my wandering dervishes.
I hoped the day would not come, but it has. It’s the day I come to terms with the burdening realisation that professional commitments will put a dent in the flow of my writing. Or at least my ability to write consistently.
I can already see laptops flying across the room, coffee mugs shattering in disgust- my readers are a passionate bunch. Unfortunately, events at work have so transpired that a post before 28th of July seems very unlikely. The workload will make it impossibe to upload anything of quality.
With that in mind, I apologise to everyone in advance. Especially if Sundays will not be the same anymore. To be honest, unless they name a bank holiday in my memory, and throw a ministerial party in Buckingham Palace marking my return, I am unlikely to ever be back (I joke).
If you find yourself in need of temporary rejuvenation in my absence, please check out the blogs (or links) below, they provide ample nourishment.
Apart from that, check out the blog’s FB page (below) where I usually upload writing stuck inbetween the limbo of an essay and a quote. And don’t worry, by liking the FB page, I do not get access to your profile. Whatever. You’re not great to look at anyway. Psht.
And if all else fails, and nothing in this world makes up for my absence (obviously the case), then check out some of the other posts on this blog. Maybe the first one I ever wrote, when I was a fresh-faced blogging baby.
And finally, Salaam, take care, and much love, from your very own Sunday Morning Rambler.
Wipe that tear away. I will be back before you know it. It’s okay. Shhh. Shhhhh,…child. Right, this is getting creepy, I’ll stop. Salaam!
